Get up and running fast with this step-by-step walkthrough of your PDM Receiver account, from setting up your profile to requesting brand data and viewing product information.
Step 1: Set Up Your Account
Log in to PDM
Navigate to Settings > Company Profile:
Complete your company name, address, and distributor relationships.
Tip: Brands are more likely to approve your requests when your profile information is complete.
Step 2: Request Brand Data
Go to Available Brands.
Use search or filters to find the brands you need.
Click Request Data to submit a request for access.
Monitor the status of your requests: Approved, Pending, or Rejected.
Step 3: Explore Your Products
Once approved, click the Product Count next to a brand to view its catalog.
Open the Detailed Product Preview to review key product information across segments:
Items: Part number, GTIN, brand name.
Applications: Year, make, model, and fitment details.
Attributes: Product specifications such as material or hardware included.
Descriptions, images, and pricing details (if provided by the brand).
Step 4: Organize Products with Filters and Tags
In All Products, use Add/Edit Filters to target specific part types, vehicle applications, or product status.
Save frequently used filters for faster future searches.
Apply Tags to group products, such as “Top Sellers” or “Seasonal Promotions.”
Step 5: Export Your Data
Navigate to Import/Export.
(Optional) Apply a saved filter first to narrow down your product list.
Choose your export format:
Excel (Full): Exports all data segments.
Export Builder Plus: Unique Export Template
ACES: Exports fitment data only.
PIES: Exports product specifications.
Digital Assets: Exports images, PDFs, and other media files.
Start your export and download your file when complete.
